Tank unit - Physical Characteristics

This Stainless Steel pressure tank is designed for direct connection to maximum water supply pressures of 500 kPa. Where the mains pressure can exceed or fluctuate beyond this pressure, a P&TR Relief Valve (complying with AS1357) must be fitted in the cold-water inlet supply. This device must be installed after the isolating valve and set at or below 850kPa.

Water Quality Requirement
The storage tank is fully welded 316 marine grade stainless steel. Certain water conditions may be deltrimental to the operation of the water heater and may cause the water heater warranty to become void. Bore water or reticulated water systems incorporating bore water (used in some rural areas) are not suitable for use in these products. For further information contact Skyline Energy.

Multiple Installations
When more than one heater is installed on the same water circuit having a common inlet and outlet, equal flow manifolds must be created at the inlet and outlet. The size of the manifold depends upon the number of heaters in the bank and water draw rate.
